The 10,000 sq. ft. machine shop is fully equipped with the latest CNC machines, its own toolroom and complete heat treatment shop. All Gas carburising furnace are fitted with an Oxygen probe Carbon monitoring system, to have precision control on Carbon percentage.

CNC turning centers, CNC machining centers, multi spindle drilling machines, cylindrical, centreless, face and cam grinding machines, and milling machines, deliver full machining ability, capable of addressing the most complex jobs. The large heat treatment shop, has a capacity of handling upto 3 tones of material per day for case carburising and hardening.
The Mahabal machine shop's state-of-the-art laboratory, ensures the quality that the Mahabal Group is renowned for. An imported Spectrometer from Germany, provides 15 element testing with in 3 minutes, assuring accuracy upto 0.01% of the element. Crack detection testers, microscopes for microstructure examination, Surfatest for surface finish testing from Taylor Hobson of England, CMM (Co-ordinate Measuring Machine) from Mututoyo Japan and allied testing equipment ensure complete testing ability.
